Magnus Stanfield Small vitreous china pedestal sink

Small Pedestal Sinks: Sizes, Faucet Holes & How to Choose

The short answer: a pedestal sink is a basin on a single column, with no cabinet and no counter. It suits a powder room or small bath where open floor matters more than storage. In our listings, a small pedestal sink starts at 14 7/8 in. wide: that was the narrowest one in stock at the time of writing, October 13, 2026. Ten in-stock models are under 20 in. wide, and those ten measure 14 1/4 to 18 3/4 in. from front to back.

Every size and price here comes from our own product listings, read on October 13, 2026, except heights marked "to rim" and the faucet drilling of six models, which come from Magnus Home Products. All 34 models in this guide are vitreous china from Magnus Home Products, and all 34 were in stock at the time of writing. The listings give each size as plus or minus 1/2 in. Prices can change, and the product page always shows the current one.

Pedestal sink sizes: all 34 in-stock models

The table runs from narrowest to widest. Depth is front to back: how far the sink reaches into the room. Height is the overall height in the listing, or the height to the rim of the basin where marked "to rim". The drilling column shows only what was in stock at the time of writing.

Where a finish is named, the listing offers white and bisque, and only the finishes in stock are shown.

Three things stand out:

  • Three size groups. 10 models are under 20 in. wide, 14 are from 20 to under 24 in., and 10 are 24 in. or wider.
  • A name is not a measurement. The Stanfield Large is 19 5/8 in. wide, still in the small group.
  • Narrow is not always shallow. The corner Timberon is 17 3/4 in. wide but 18 3/4 in. front to back. The other nine small models are 14 1/4 to 17 1/8 in.

How to measure the wall space and supply lines

  1. Width. Measure the wall where the sink will go. Our vanity measuring guide says to leave room on each side instead of measuring wall to wall. Then allow for the plus or minus 1/2 in. in the listing.
  2. Depth. Measure from the wall to the nearest thing in front of it: a toilet, a tub or the swing of the door. The 34 models run from 14 1/4 to 22 3/8 in. front to back.
  3. Drain and water lines. Note where they come out of the wall or floor. A pedestal sink has no cabinet to hide them. Four listings say how far the column stands from the wall: 1 1/2 in. on the Condon, 3 1/2 in. on the Galena 100, roughly 4 15/16 in. on the Fallston 100 and 6 1/2 in. on the Ola. Eight say the back of the pedestal is open: Alma, Chipley 200, 300 and 400, Galena 100 and 200, Lyra and Opermate.
  4. Wall support. All 34 listings say "Wood Blocking Required", and 33 include mounting hardware. Blocking is wood fixed inside the wall for the basin to fasten to. If your wall is already finished, ask your installer how they will add it.

The listings do not give a height for the drain or the supply lines. If your plumber needs one, ask us before you order.

Standard height vs. the tall models

The listings do not name one standard height. What the table shows: 30 of the 34 models are between 31 1/2 and 36 in. high. Four are taller.

Overall height and rim height can differ: the Chipley 200 is 35 1/2 in. overall, measured to the top of the backsplash, and 33 in. to the rim.

The Tifton 100 and Tifton 200 come in both heights at the same width and depth. The regular Tifton 100 is 34 1/2 in. to the rim, so the tall version is 3 1/2 in. higher. The Tall Tifton 100 listing describes a basin "at a height you do not have to stoop to".

Replacing a sink? Measure the height of the one you have and compare it with the height column.

Faucet drilling: single hole, 4 in. centerset or 8 in. widespread

The faucet holes are drilled before the sink reaches you: all 34 listings say "Pre-Drilled". On most models you choose the drilling on the product page, then buy a faucet to match. The counts below are what was in stock at the time of writing.

  • Single hole. One hole. In stock on 13 models.
  • 4 in. centerset. Three holes, as the Trigg listing spells out. In stock on 26 models.
  • 8 in. widespread. For a faucet with three separate pieces: a spout and two handles. In stock on 17 models.

The Ladson was the one model with all three in stock. On 32 of the 34 listings the faucet hole is 1 3/8 in. across.

Six listings did not give the drilling in full until Magnus Home Products confirmed it on October 13, 2026: the Lyra is single hole, and the Condon, Keating, Mei, Ola and Solon 100 are 4 in. centerset. Each listing now says so.

The faucet is a separate purchase. See A Guide to Bathroom Faucet Finishes for the finish, and How to Install a Widespread Bathroom Faucet if you choose three pieces.

Corner pedestal sinks

One corner pedestal sink was in stock at the time of writing: the Timberon. Its listing gives 12 1/2 in. along each wall, 17 3/4 in. wide and 18 3/4 in. front to back, with a single faucet hole and an overflow hole. It is 32 1/4 in. to the rim.

To check the fit, measure 12 1/2 in. out from the corner along both walls and make sure nothing sits in that stretch, such as door trim. Then check the 18 3/4 in. depth against the swing of the door.

What is not in the box

  • Faucet. 31 of the 34 listings say "Faucet Not Included". The Canton, Grafton 100 and Mei listings do not list one as included either.
  • Drain. All 34 say "Drain Not Included" and that the sink accepts a standard 1 1/2 in. drain. Our widespread faucet guide suggests checking whether your faucet comes with a pop-up drain assembly.
  • Trap and supply lines. No listing names them as included, so plan to buy them.

In the box: the basin, the pedestal and, on 33 listings, mounting hardware. The Paladoso listing does not mention hardware.

One more detail: 33 models have an overflow hole. The Fallston 200 has none, which matters when you pick a drain.

Pedestal sink vs. console sink vs. small floating vanity

  • Pedestal sink. A basin on one column. No shelf and no cabinet. In stock from 14 7/8 to 34 3/8 in. wide.
  • Console sink. A counter and basin on an open frame with legs, with room underneath for a shelf or towel bar. The four complete Anzzi console sink sets we list measure 36 or 48 in. by 22 in., so they need more wall than a small pedestal sink. See the Console Sink Buying Guide.
  • Small floating vanity. A cabinet hung on the wall with the floor open underneath. Our Small Floating Bathroom Vanities collection has 18, 24 and 30 in. models. It is the only one of the three with a cabinet. See Floating vs. Freestanding Vanity.

A pedestal sink and a floating vanity both need blocking in the wall.
