Want a showerhead and a hand shower run from one Symmons valve? The Symmons Elm shower and hand shower trim, model S550815TRM, is the visible part of the system, in Polished Chrome.
This listing is the trim only. The valve body in the wall is sold separately. Symmons names the Temptrol valve body S262BODY for this trim, or S262XBODY where service stops are required. The valve also comes with the Rapid Install Bracket as model S262BRBODY. A tub spout is not included.
The trim has a five mode round showerhead with a shower arm, a three mode hand shower on a 60 in. flexible metal hose and a cradle for the hand shower. A single metal lever handle sets the water temperature, and the solid brass valve cover plate has hot and cold indicators. A second lever on the valve trim is the integral diverter control; Symmons' sheet also calls it a volume control lever. The showerhead flows at 1.5 gallons per minute (5.7 L/min).
