Need a metering valve for a public shower? The Symmons ShowerOff shower valve, model 4-420, is a metering shower valve with trim, in Polished Chrome. Symmons describes ShowerOff valves for public showers and other showers where water use should be controlled.
The valve body is brass, with 1/2 in. sweat connections and an integral service stop for shutting the water off when the valve cartridge is serviced. Symmons states that the timing can be adjusted from 30 to 60 seconds and that it varies with the inlet pressure. The maximum operating pressure is 80 psi (552 kPa).
