Its Whisper·Close® hinge closes slowly and quietly, and Super·Grip® bumpers are there to keep the seat from shifting. The seat fastens with the Stay·Tite® Commercial Fastening System™. It has DuraGuard® and molded-in color. The hinge posts and pintles are 300-series stainless steel. Bemis states that it fits most manufacturers' elongated toilets.
