Running a showerhead and a hand shower from one Symmons valve? The Symmons 1/2 in. dual outlet diverter valve body, model 2DIVBODYSRT, lets the flow be diverted to, or shared between, two shower functions, such as a showerhead and a hand shower.
This listing is the diverter valve body only. The handle and cover plate are part of the shower trim, sold separately. Symmons names this diverter body for its 9605-PLR-1.5-TRM shower system trim, together with the Temptrol valve body 262BODY.
It is made mainly of brass and bronze, with male IPS and sweat inlet and outlet connections in a common plane. Symmons lists it for use with VersaFlex common plane Temptrol valves. Symmons states that the outlet ports must not be plugged and that the diverter must not be used as a shut-off valve.
