Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in the package?

The steam generator, an advanced touch screen control with Bluetooth and WiFi, one square steamhead, the built-in Auto Drain, two stereo speakers, two chroma lights and one white LED light, a drain pan, a pressure relief valve and three 10 ml aroma bottles.

What wattages and finishes are available?

You choose the wattage, from 4.5 kW to 24 kW, and the finish: Gold, Brushed Nickel, Chrome, Matte Black or Oil Rubbed Bronze. If you're not sure which wattage your steam shower needs, contact us with its size before you order.

What electrical service does it need?

SteamSpa lists 240V for every size. The current it draws goes up with the wattage, so have a licensed electrician size the circuit before you order.

What does the Auto Drain do?

It purges the generator automatically after each steam bath, which SteamSpa says helps maintain performance. Our steam generator guide notes that mineral buildup is the main thing that shortens a steam generator's life.

Does it ship free, and can it be returned?

SteamSpa orders ship free on every order. You can start a return within 30 days of delivery if it's unused and in the original packaging; steam generator returns carry a 50% restocking fee, and the shipping we paid is deducted from the refund.
