Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the Asher, and does it fit two people?

It's 71 in. long, 43 in. front to back and 23 7/8 in. high (plus or minus 1/2 in.). Inside, it's 40 1/2 in. wide at the top and 48 1/2 by 32 3/8 in. at the floor, and Magnus lists it as a 2-person tub; our sizing guide suggests about 40 in. of outside width for two people. It holds 74 gallons, weighs 101 lbs empty and is made of 2 acrylic sheets with foam insulation.

Is a drain included?

Yes. Magnus includes a neutral white drain that goes with any brass faucet finish, and the tub has a modern integral overflow slot (see the close-up photos).

Can I add air jets, and can it be returned?

Yes: choose Air Jets Included in the Air Tub option, and Magnus lists the blower at 1,140 watts (9.5A at 120V). A tub ordered with air jets is made to order and final sale. Without air jets, you can start a return within 30 days of delivery if it's unused and in the original packaging, with a 25% restocking fee, and the shipping we paid to deliver it is deducted from the refund.

What faucet do I need for a freestanding tub?

A freestanding tub filler stands on the floor next to the tub, and a wall-mounted faucet is another option. A floor filler's water lines come up through the floor, so confirm where the tub will sit and rough them in before the finished floor goes down.

Does it ship free, and how is it delivered?

Magnus Home Products orders ship free on every order. This tub ships by freight truck: the carrier calls you to schedule a delivery appointment and unloads it at the curb, and delivery inside your home is available by quote.
