Magnus 110086 56" Bandon Solid Surface Stone Resin Freestanding Bathtub

I love this tub! It's pretty, keeps my bath water warm, fits me just right (I'm 5'7") and I love that it isn't acrylic. It looks very organic with the matte finish and rounded edge. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. My builder made sure to reinforce the joists since it is very heavy.

The tub was shipped and received quickly and in great shape. This is a beautiful tub! I love the matte finish. Can’t wait to have it installed!

I can't say it enough how pleased I am with the decision to select this Resin tub. The Matte finish, style, comfort. Grateful for the spec sheet to print and review with my construction crew before purchasing. They arranged two extra crew members for installation because they had to turn it on its' side to fit into the 28 inch bathroom doorway. You never know what you are going to experience or get when you order on line from a company so I called Magnus and the customer service rep was legit making me feel secure about what to me was a big decision. Placed the order and the shipper delivered the wooden crated, boxed, protected beautiful stone resin tub that I felt like Christmas in January when I saw what I was hoping for. Wanting a spa look in the tiny cottage so many friends doubted me when I said I was removing the ugly shower stall and getting a freestanding tub. I wish I could upload a pic to show how this fits in the 8 ft x 9 ft bathroom perfectly. Along with toilet and sink. There's fine amount of floor space for one person. All I needed. The filler I selected is at the end of the tub. The crew installed the tub and quick drain kit in about 4 hrs one afternoon, done when I arrived home at the end of a day. They did not say anything negative about the installation except that they will be ready for the next customer who orders a 395 lb stone resin tub! For me, at 5 ft 4 in Getting in out is a cinch. The fit is super roomy. I think I'm glad I ordered matte finish because gloss might have been more slippery of a hand hold touching the rims getting in out but for me I just wanted the matte for a less glossy shine in the room/lighting. The one thing that I will get accustomed to is the center drain so not to sit or contact it to open it while in use. Wiping the tub down with towel after each use. With hard well water on the lake front, I had a water softener filter system installed two months prior to getting the tub/bathroom remodel scheduled so not to have hard water stains in my new tub.
What else to say. Can't think of a thing. If your construction crew can manage the size/weight you will likely be as pleased as me.

I had previously this tub from a different supplier and it had been put on back order for over 6 months. Magnus had it in stock at a better price and I received the tub within 5 days. I had called to confirm dimensions of the tub and was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable customer service.

The Resin Tub is of great value because it enhances the bathroom immensely. The sits like an icon in be bathroom. The price of the product was the best the I could find on the internet. For those that purchase this bathtub will be greatly pleased.

Delivery was impeccable. The box it was in didn't have a mark on it - amazing for travelling halfway across the country. It was very difficult to find a tub this size with air jets to fit in our small space. Beautiful solid tub - not small at all - it's so much bigger than I expected. It's in place in the bathroom but not hooked up yet - waiting on the plumber. Will add a picture and more info to my review as soon as we're able to use it. Can't wait!

I spent MONTHS looking for the perfect tub to replace our standard tub size of 60 inches in length. Ideally, the tub needed to be 59 inches or less to avoid the cost of removing a wall and reconfiguring the entryway into the bathing area. While there were many tubs out there 59 inches or less, they didn't have the basin I was looking for. Most acrylic tubs are very bulky due to the flimsy construction, it needs the bulk to keep it sturdy. That bulk also takes away from your the room you'd like inside the tub. Nobody wants to get into a tub and not be able to stretch their legs out, leaving your legs in a bent position the entire time. That's not relaxing. I'm 5'7" with longer legs. Not only can I sit down and stretch out with more room to spare before your feet hit the end of the tub. It's also very easy to sit up in this tub with your legs criss-cross. The resin holds heat very well and keeps the water hot. My husband is 6' and it rather comfortable in it himself. I ordered this tub unseen relying solely on the measurement provided along with some verification from Customer Service and have not been disappointed. I'm hoping I can get a picture submitted with this review. This tub is just perfect. I would completely order it again if I had more space for a larger tub.

My first Masterbath remodel I purchased an acrylic tub. It was OK but seemed a bit hollow For my second Masterbath remodel I did more research and decided to spend the extra $$ for a Resin Bath. Not disappointed. Love this tub. It does retain the hot water better. It feels solid.
