The exterior is deliberately rough; the rim and interior are polished glass-smooth. The Felpy in Dark Grey is a 14 1/8" round cast concrete vessel with a 4 7/8" basin, and the contrast between the two surfaces is the entire design. Cast concrete, so it has the weight to match the look.
