Converting a bathtub to a tub and shower? Latoscana's Lucia thermostatic shower kit 2, model Lucia-Kit-2-PW, in Brushed Nickel, is a set of shower and tub parts with the rough-in valve included.
The kit is made of brass castings with ceramic disc valves and uses standard 1/2 in. NPT plumbing connections. Latoscana says the Lucia design comes from the idea of water flowing over the rocks of the streams and lakes near the Italian Alps. Latoscana gives a shower flow rate of 1.8 GPM.
Latoscana says kit 2 has the shower equipment you need to convert an existing bathtub into a tub and shower, and recommends a licensed plumber if you are not comfortable working with your house water system.
